About the event
Unfettered global injustice has resulted in unprecedented polycrisis (i.e., multiple major crises happening at once). While there are a number of factors that create these issues, one throughline across each is a cultural imagination poisoned by oppressive and dominance-oriented logics.
Whether discussing neo-colonialism, imperialism, or fascism, we entered an era where the cultural imagination of injustice has not only been normalized, but incentivized. At this moment, where the global majority continues to battle countless forms of injustice, the public is faced with a need for a cultural imagination that reconnects us with ourselves, each other, and Spirit.
Our workshop has a dual purpose of introducing anti-oppressive worldmaking as a counter to injustice culture and presenting our new mission and model to build worlds beyond injustice.
