This Ain't Child's PLAY

The bleak and disconcerting nature of the world often leaves us disempowered and demoralized. In times like these, two of the most our powerful tools are sovereignty and imagination. This workshop explores reclaiming imagination as a pathway to reclaiming sovereignty. Too often dismissed as “child’s play,” imagination is needed to cultivate freedom within ourselves, empathy with others, and responsibility for the futures we build.

In this interactive session, we will explore three types of critical imagination that can sustain social transformation within ourselves and our work. Participants will walk away with the PLAY framework as a tool to reclaiming imagination in social justice and personal sovereignty.
